All Regnum Christi members of every vocation who are currently engaged in marriage apostolates are especially invited to attend. In order to focus the symposium, and because marriage is the basis of the family, the symposium will focus on marriage apostolates in particular.

The objectives of the symposium are the following:

• To hear the report of the Marriage and Family commission
• To meet others who are leading marriage apostolates in the territory and to listen to each other
• To create synergies between marriage apostolates

What is the question we are trying to answer?

How can Regnum Christi, as an apostolic body, best contribute to the authentic renewal of marriage in North America?

• What is working? Why is it working?
• Where are we seeing real fruit and how are we defining that?
• What are challenges presented by the culture for those working in this ministry? For married couples?
• How do we create synergies?
• How are we called to respond to this need in society as an apostolic body?
• What is the specific contribution of the RC charism to marriage renewal in North America?
• What have members received/desired and not received from RC in the renewal of their marriages?

Some elements that will allow us to listen to the Holy Spirit together as we seek to answer these questions:

• The Marriage and Family Commission will present their findings and recommendations.
• All participants will have the opportunity to listen and ask questions.
• Time will be given to assimilate the content individually and in small groups.
• There will be space for reflection and prayer together.
• Participants will have the opportunity to share responses to the commission’s report.
